Deists: What are the most compelling evidences for you to believe in a Deity?

As a fellow freethinking Deist, I believe in a Deity, but sometimes stuggle with evidences for a God. As rationalists we must always have good reasons for what we believe. I might analyze and rethink particular evidences; to me, intellectual honesty is of the utmost importance. Through and through, im not too confident in most "proofs" for God. A few of Thomas Aquinas's Arguments seem to always come back to me, as well as some biology theories. My question to you is this, -what are the most compelling evidences for you to believe in a Deity?
As someone who has respect for you, John, I would love to hear your answer especially.
Arguments for deism
Before I begin, for the sake of intellectual honesty, I have to admit that there is no way to decisively prove or disprove any answer we as individuals come up with when we wrestle with any of the ancient questions about life. Questions like "who are we?", "what is the meaning of life?", "what is morality?" and "is there a god?" are matters of personal philosophy. Gut instincts, life experiences and other subjective elements come into play that would never be accepted in a debate on a harder science.
Whether you are inclined to the Teleological argument or its atheist counter, the Law of Infinate Probability, is a matter of abstract conjecture and I leave it to the individuals to find their own answers. What is important is that we draw a fine line in our own minds between what we know (science) vs. what we believe (philosophy). The first is based on objective reality (we exist) and the second on subjective interpretation (what that means to us).
For now, we do know there WAS a point of Creation (some 13.7 billion years ago) and it was a dramatic event where space and time as we know it came to be. Was there some decision behind it or does the Law of Infinate Probabiliy apply?
OK, that disclaimer out of the way, here's my favorite argument for God (and it's not one you'll hear Kirk Cameron using):

While we can't disprove or prove that there is a Deity as Deists we do take the side of one in existence. Until someone can prove that we are an accident or eternal I'll believe that we were created.
Christianity often focuses on Paul's "thorn in the flesh" (2 Cor. 12:7-10), the mysterious affliction that threatened his faith and his preaching.
Perhaps Deists, in their own way, have a thorn - the struggle to believe in God in a rational way. Deism really is a very personal philosophy that each believer must approach in his or her own unique way. Since the validity of the traditional arguments for God's existence has been swept away (albeit frequently invoked by believers in naive innocence), new approaches are needed, like John's observations on the altruism of gay adoption.
Thus, there is a thorn - can God's existence really be defended rationally? But the affliction can be fun, an ongoing challenge to each rational animal who accepts it. The thorn keeps the mind's wheels turning.
While I'm an ex-Fundamentalist Christian (now a Deist), I believe in God from personal experiences I've had with Him, no longer because of "blind faith." I'm a 52 year old woman who had been a Christian for over 35 years. Most of that time I had a belief in God due to the belief of the doctrines held in Fundamentalist Christianity. Throughout my life, I had personal experiences with God that Fundamentalism would not consider "valid." Until 3 years ago, when I had an experience with God that Christian leaders in my then church persecuted me for, because they believed they were "not of God." I held up pretty well when the attacks were only directed towards me, but when they began attacking my child, that's when I finally left the Christian church.
They claimed to believe in God, yet with their actions, they proved that they didn't know God. They used man-made, blind faith doctrines to outline their beliefs in Him. All was speculative, since none of them had ever had a true, one-on-one experience with He whom they called "Father," yet, they felt the need to invalidate my experience with God.
My experiences are factual to me. I cannot force another to believe my experiences, but I will also not allow anyone to dissuade me from believing the things that happened to me. Their fairy tale god is not my God.

Thanks for the constructive feedback :)golden köpek regarding the Overworld limitations and linearity, I only felt it limited in the sense that you aren't truely able to 'explore' fully in the way that could in other Zelda games - remember the underground caverns you could once find? - and quite frankly I miss that and it is basically linear in the sense that your destination is already chosen, yes you are still exploring and in a wonderful new way but this Overworld 'Transport' also highlights the limitations of what Nintendo can do with a 3D Zelda game on the DS but what they 'have' achieved is still impressive and I mp3 indirdo acknowledge that fully.
And yes it's true that because of the new Overworld mechanic, it doesn't seem 'empty' at times like TWW did when you were sailing around huge open masses of sea - the sailing in TWW is still captivating though and was a refreshing change at the time - as for the sidequests, I didn't go into detail because I don't want to spoil anything... this review may be late but I am aware that are still people out there who have yet to play it, but yes there is 'plenty to see and do' which I specifically highlighted as a positive, so I didn't ignore that aspect.
@Benedetto - No... I was informed that I'd be receiving the game so going out and buying another copy of it would have been counter-productive in this instance; November was a busy time both for myself and for game then of course I would have endeavoured to get the review done earlier and it would have perhaps been longer too but that was not the case and while it saddens me that I wasn't able to provide a review of a Zelda game soon after it being released I feel that I still did my besthq wallpapers considering the circumstances.

Those Jackson kids are adorable! What! No mention of Pink's outstanding performance--twirling and splashing water on all the celebs (help I'm melting) Her voice never quivered.
